Who or What is adamsand?

There are several possibilities ...

'Adam Sand' is a thing. Never heard of it? Well, eBay is bidding on Google Adwords for the keyword phrase 'Adam Sand'.

Since eBay does not allow people to be sold on its service, 'Adam Sand' is obviously a physical object.

Otherwise, eBay would be running a fraudulent and deceptive ad on Google, violating both its own terms of service and Google's terms of service.

The Adwords ad, though, links to auctions on eBay for Adams sand wedges. So eBay is apparently bidding on a typo of a trademark belonging to Adams Golf, Inc., a popular manufacturer of golf equipment.

Adamsand.com has nothing to do with golf.

There may not be any other possible products. A search at the US Trademark Office for 'adamsand' and 'adam sand' came back with no results. No registered trademarks and no trademark applications.

'Adam Sand' could be short for Adam Sandler. Certainly, that is what Google thinks, as Google returns those search results.

While we like Adam Sandler as an actor, this has nothing to do with acting or movies.

Is 'Adam Sand' a person? According to PeopleFinders.com, there are about 20 different people named Adam Sand across the United States. Google's primary result is someone in Canada, so who knows how many Adam Sand's there are worldwide? A quick search finds linkedin references to a systems analyst, a body builder, an electronics store manager, an attorney and legal counsel, etc. Apparently none of them have anything to do with the Internet, otherwise they would be considered incompetent for not registering their name as a domain name. This site is not targeted to any of them.

Maybe there is a different interpretation of the domain name. Don't be narrow-minded!

'A dam sand' - many dams are made of sand, especially in third-world countries. There is even a product called 'Sand Dam'. But this website has nothing to do with that either.

'Adams and' - lots of possibilities here. Too many to list. Think of your favorite Adams and add any word you want to the end.

Or, it could be encrypted code for something else. Replace 'a' with a different letter, 'd' with yet another letter, and so on. Let us know what you come up with.
